This finish on the rustic kitchen tables chairs and benches is so beautiful. We used to just get the clear lacquer finish on our rustic log furniture, but this darker look matches so well with both lighter rooms and the darker lodge look. 

Log Dining Room Tables - The Different Styles

There are a couple different styles of the log dining room tables.  Mostly the BASE of the table is different. All the tops are pretty much made the same. The grain of wood is gorgeous on the tops and they are always sanded so smooth, even on the unfinished ones. The tops are made of laminated and edge glued, solid pine panels of wood.

I have heard that others have whitewashed the unfinished pieces for a beautiful different look, but I've never done that yet. But here are the different styles of log kitchen tables they make.  The log kitchen table below is a pedestal style base.

Log TRESTLE Table

The log trestle table was my favorite when the kids were little. Not as much to keep clean as on the other table bases! This is not the  photo of my kitchen back then... we always had a bench along the one side in the half log bench style and you can actually fit three chairs along each side if you want to do that. 

Log Dining Tables For Small Spaces

​Need a smaller log dining table for small spaces in your dining room or kitchen area? These are basically the same as the larger tables, only with a smaller base and smaller tops. I think you can get them with either a square top, round or octagon shaped top.
