Log Cabin Bedroom Sets
The log cabin bedroom sets can be any variety that you prefer - a basic log bedroom set is a bed and one of the rustic log dressers and a night stand with the log lamp on it. You will need to get shades at any home decor place for the lamp as they don't come with the shades.
We mostly have the one drawer log night stands in our bedrooms, like the one shown here. The drawer is quite strong and slides easily, and is the right height for most of the beds. The two drawer rustic night stand works better with a higher pillowtop mattress though as it's closer to the right height for that kind of bed, but we mostly have normal queen size beds.

Amish Made Log Beds
These amish made log beds are the best and definitely the strongest beds we have ever owned. The rustic log bed frame comes with the two half log side rails and there is a heavy duty angle iron bolted onto the inside of the bottom rail where the wooden slats sit on. It comes with three or four slats, and you can always add more if you aren't comfortable with that. We just used what came with the beds.
With 5 kids in the house it is VERY nice to have a bed that doesn't creak with night time activity .. no, we are not having any more, thank you for asking! ...and these beds are so solid and heavy that they don't rock or creak. ( if your log cabin bed DOES creak, I would assume the hardware wasn't tightened enough when the bed was assembled. ) These come with the headboard and footboard fully assembled but you have to attach the rails.
And yes kids will be kids, so there WILL be some jumping on the beds at SOME point. And with this kind of a bed, you seriously have nothing to worry about. Beds are available in ALL sizes on the here.

Log Cabin Bedroom Dressers
My personal favorite of the rustic log cabin dressers is both the nine drawer log dresser and the six drawer dresser as it holds so much in the drawers... all six of them! This one will spoil you forever with it's uncanny ability to hold ALL your jeans on ONE drawer. =)
Because the lodgepole pine is so much softer than most other harder types of wood... ( which is what all the amish log furniture is made of that comes out of NW Montana where we got ours) .. the tops of the dressers tend to get nicked easier, but if you get them with any of the finishes that get put on at the shop, they stay pretty nice.
Ours stayed nice for a long time and even if they did get dented or nicked, you don't really notice it as the furniture is SUPPOSED to be rustic. It's one reason why I LOVE this type of log furniture, especially with our five kids!
And even if you do get a deeper nick or scratch, just sand it out and dab some varnish on it to make it look good as new again. There are quite a variety of rustic log cabin bedroom dressers available at their Ebay store HERE and with the free shipping, it's super nice. Comes to your door on a pallet and with the help of a few strong kids can be set right where you want it within a few minutes.
