Beautiful Amish Made Log Beds!
We LOVE the amish log beds! When we got ours, there was only this rail style to choose from but they also make a platform bed that is really cool, and perhaps even better than the normal ones. I can only imagine how SOLID the amish platform beds are as the normal ones are a beast! I guess the whole purpose of the platform beds is to eliminate the need for a bulky boxsprings especially with the newer pillowtop mattresses.
I know with the normal beds they literally don't move or creak. ( nice when you have a houseful of kids!) The bed posts are very solid and about 6" in diameter so that helps with the sturdiness of the bed plus with the double railing on each side, it helps as well.
They all come with the necessary slats to put in for the mattress support and I've helped assemble several of these beds so I know first hand that they aren't hard to put together at all. Just need some muscle to help keep get the rails in the right place in the headboard and footboard. But yes, Amish made log beds at their best!

The beds come disassembled, with all hardware included. Slats included. Heavy angle iron is bolted to the side rails for very strong support. Mattress NOT included.

Amish Log Bunk Beds - the Kids Favorite Bed!
These log bunk beds are just as awesome as they look! Easy for kids to get in and out of with the strong logs on the ends to climb up in. You can't break these bunk beds.
I almost killed my husband though when we were taking one apart to move though! Ahhh, scared the daylights out of both him and me! They are not that hard to put together or take apart but just make sure to have enough hands available to help hold the ends as the pieces are heavy!
We just had the twin over twin but there is also a twin over full which is even nicer ( I think) ... and now they make a twin over futon bunk bed too. All three are lovely and perfect for the kids rooms.
